In our lesson today we where put into our groups that we will have for our final short film. Sarah came and explained more about the different camera angles and different camera positions. Once we were finished discussing the shots we was given a theme that our short film has to be based on. That theme is 'Secrets'. Before we actually start our short film, Sarah assigned us to film a short little scene. This allowed us to get used to the different angles and have a better understanding.

Short Film Inspirations From Short Of The Week
For this short film, it really shows that other people in this world are living life differently and tying to make the best out of the lifestyle that they are living in. In this film you see that the family follows a tradition where for the young men rabbit hunting is a right of passage practiced since the early 1900s.
For this short film, it is indeed a dark comedy. It has an ax slicing up multiple people, including a baby and a child. In the video when the child has her hands cut off it does not even blur it out. If a younger viewer was to watch this I am sure that this would leave a scar. In my opinion you are able to see that this short film is not super realistic or high on budget. It is a funny dark comedy creative film with decent special fx with blood and gore.

Short Film Inspiration Form Other Sources
(Patmore, 2005)
Patmore, C.
(2005). Character Design . London: Piers Spence.
For this book this first image grabbed my attention immediately. I like the art style for this character compared to a lot of the other characters in this book. When I see the character I imagine that this elf looking character could be a bounty hunter. He looks like he is a serious person and gets anything done his way. He doesn't listen to anyone unless there is money involved. I imagine that he is swift and sneaky and he slices his enemies/victims in half or decapitates them with his katana.
For the second image it grabbed my attention as well. The art style is similar to how I draw. This character looks like a very intense rogue ninja or some sort. I don't know what it is about me but I find that when characters wield katanas they instantly become bad ass. He looks like his sister died because of the village. The villages head captain betrayed him and killed his sister. This made him turn rogue against the village and him planning on the day he will take revenge. His physical characteristics look really cool.
For the first photo it has this pop art punk vibe to it. The photo looks like an album cover to a song.
For the second photo it looks like it could be the cover art for a movie or TV show. A Romance movie/TV show where he is blinded by the simple things he does not do for her. As much as she loves him he must let him go until he finally realises what really matters. There will be obstacles he will have to surpass and overcome. There will be regret and sadness but it is all for the better good. It is up to him to realise what is wrong and how he can truly do to fix it before it is to late and the love is gone forever.

Questionnaire Analysis Plan
Questionnaire Analysis Plan
Looking at my Survey analysis 84% of the people who answered my survey watch movies and 16% do not. It was half and half when it comes to the age.
40% 16 year olds
20% 17 year olds
For my survey I did not add just 4 basic movie genres for the person to pick from. I allowed them to have more of a general selection but from the looks of it, Action movies are the most picked genre.
Character Bio
Character Bio
We where required to do a character analysis. We had to have notes on our selves, interesting facts, design ideas/inspirations, images I could use and state my Psychographic and demographic things.
We also had to draw or create a character of ourselves. I am sure others just took pictures of them selves or took a picture of something else instead of drawing themselves but I wanted to be different and draw myself,

In this lesson we covered Audience profiling. I had to watch an episode of CBeebies and Grand Design. I had to decided what type of audience would be watching the TV shows.
